oh man this site is so cool. i love your artwork and the journal section's incredibly real. also i may or may not start referencing your study guide to actually learn how to do so [former gifted kid moment].

been slowly making my way into web development and stumbled across this while watching a video about the old internet. it's like I'm nostalgic for something I was never even a part of... this website is awesome though, and I'm actually motivated to work on a website now (for once)! also read some of these guestbooks and it's cool that you're a musician too - I mainly play low brass and woodwind, but I dabble in whatever instrument I can get my hands on... hats off to anyone who can play violin well; it's painful when I try :p

glad to hear that you're motivated! working on a personal site is something i find very positive and enriching so i hope you're able to experience that feeling for yourself too. tbh, i am not particularly great at violin and piano is more my thing, though i rarely play nowadays haha. low brass and woodwind sound pretty sick; i always wonder how wind instrument players get so good at breath control. also, am i in a video about the old internet?? pls let me know if i am bc i have no idea lolol

hi!! i just wanted to say that i love your website! it's really cool.
ESPECIALLY your bird drawings (they're beautiful!!!!!) and the cat on your index page. i also read "a mathmatician's lament" and couldn't agree more. i love mathmatics and i'm glad to find so many likeminded people online. what made me really fall in love with the base structure of the subject was my high school teacher, who exclusively made us work in groups on problems. that was way more fun because we were usually looking for the "funniest" or "most creative" way to solve an issue instead of "the fastest one"
so the pdf really spoke to me!
not much more to say except you've got a GREAT SITE. i love it!
best wishes :3

hi octagon, i'm glad you like my site! thanks for the little anecdote about math. i had a similar experience with a particularly passionate and motivational math teacher, which is why i like math so much today too. i can't say that i've particularly aimed to find funny and creative ways to solve math problems but i really like that lol; id imagine it was a really fun class. also, i like the simple layout of your site and the tasteful color choice : D

I really appreciate your most recent journal post, I definitely relate to still feeling stuck and like my brain is mush despite the lack of social media in my life. I hope your walk was nice!

oops, its been a while but nevertheless i'm glad i'm not alone. i still remember that walk i took because i don't usually go outside for no reason at school.. it was okay, but a little disappointing because it's as if everything in the city is there for the express purpose of getting you to spend money X__x
